Buzz Slutzky is a nonbinary trans artist and activist living in Brooklyn, NY. Born in Overland Park, KS, Buzz tells their story of growing up Jewish in Montclair, NJ, and the how the intersection of art, identity, and queer radicalism influences their life and work. While discussing their time at Sarah Lawrence, working at Living AIDS, and interning for Art in General, Buzz uses personal stories to shed light on the mosaic of trans identities and how art and intergenerational connection has helped them understand and express who they are.
