Laura Jane Grace is a female from Florida who uses she and they. At the time of this interview, Grace was working as a musician for the band Against Me! In this oral history, Grace reflects upon moving around as a child in a military family, dropping out of high school to play music, experimenting with cross-dressing and eventually coming out in 2012. They also mention dating, marriage and divorce. Lastly, she speaks about raising her daughter.
