JAC Stringer is a Native American two spirit, genderqueer femme trans guy from Ohio. Stringer has founded multiple entities including the Heartland Trans Wellness Group, GenderBLOC, Cincinnati Trans Community Group, and Trans Identified Providers Support (TIPS). At the time of this video, he was a community organizer based out of the Midwest. In this interview he talks at length about his childhood experiences with gender, disability, and bullying. He also talks extensively about his activism and trans community building, as well as his desire to resist pathologization. Lastly, Stringer touches upon topics such as drag, gender policing within trans communities, and trans normalization.
