Digital Transgender Archive
Lorenzo Van Ness, a trans identifying individual, defines their gender as "super cute". They talk about their upbringing in a Dominican-American family, and their struggle with finding acceptance from their parents. Lorenzo talks about role models they have had, mainly teachers and mentors, who have mostly been women of color and queer-identifying people. Lorenzo talks about the expectations that people have of masculine presenting individuals, and how they are uncomfortable with this.
