Interview with Merrick Moses

Merrick Moses is a mixed Black and Latino trans man from Queens, New York. At the time of this interview, Moses was living in Maryland. In this oral history, Moses speaks about his relationship with politics, equity, his childhood, the issues with single story, and transitioning into Black masculinity. Moses also talks about medical transition, toxic masculinity, racism, and his spirituality. As for involvement, Moses talks about his work with Marilyn Mosby, the Democratic National Convention, Transmen, Inc. and Black Trans Advocacy. Lastly, Moses speaks on being his authentic self; as well as his hopes for freedom, justice, equality, and liberation for transgender communities.
