Interview with Rehema Mertinez
Rehema Mertinez is a mixed Jamaican and Puerto Rican woman from Minnesota and Australia who goes by she and they. She talks about her early life, moving to Australia as a child, housing insecurity, and returning to the United States as a teenager. They also discuss the support they received from Avenues for Youth and the Trans Youth Support Network. Lastly, she mentions her involvement in theater in Minneapolis, including Charm at Mixed Blood Theater and The Naked I at 20% Theater.
