Ignacio Rivera is a Black-Boricua-Taíno transgender Two-Spirit person from Brooklyn. At the time of this interview, Rivera was working as an Educator, Activist, and Performer based out of New York. In this oral history, they speak at length about their family relationships, gender fluidity, economic justice, and POC presence in play parties and kink spaces. They also touch upon their work for non-profits, community-based alternatives to calling the police, respectability politics, and polyamory. Rivera is the founder of a project dedicated to sexual liberation called Poly Patao Productions.
